Kaleo Hospitality is owner-operated by Chad & Amanda Ducote — a husband-and-wife team with nearly two decades of leadership, business management, and hands-on project execution.

Together they're seasoned entrepreneurs, with more than 12 years in real estate — acquiring, renovating, and managing a growing portfolio of properties across the region. Through every venture, one thread stays constant: a genuine passion for hospitality and for taking care of people well.

In 2024 they became multi-unit Chicken Salad Chick franchisees, opening two locations in just five months, and in 2026 they opened their first Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. By building a small but extraordinary team and obsessing over the details, their restaurants have consistently ranked in the top 10% for guest satisfaction.

Their experience runs just as deep in construction and project management — most notably the full rebuild and renovation of a campus after Hurricane Ida. It's the same discipline and care they bring to every restaurant they operate.

Over 19 years in nonprofit leadership, Chad built deep experience in leadership development, administration, and volunteer recruitment — including guiding a major commercial property development from the ground up. He leads Kaleo with a conviction that running restaurants is a calling to serve people well.

Amanda Ducote

Owner

Amanda pairs a sharp eye for detail with disciplined project and budget management — she managed the budget on the post-Ida campus rebuild, keeping every phase on time and on target. That same care shows up in how their teams are built and how their guests are served.
